Lack of Posting

My life took a considerable different direction on 10/31/13. My neighbor that we've lived next door to was diagnosed with a brain tumor. She has not elected treatment. Which I knew deep down as the very first time I met her that she ultimately wanted to be with her true love Johnny. During the past several month's I've developed a relationship with her wonderful daughter Jennifer. She not only fought for our country for the past 18 months, had come home to find her Mother was in need after a week being state side. She took care of her Mom since 1 day. During this time, she would need respite time. We'd going shopping (groceries) not being gone long or too far away in case we need to make an immediate return home. Then when "Mom" was resting we'd would walk with the dogs. We've spent most of the winter outside even with the awful winter we've had.

After being in Texas for several years Jen had to re acclimate herself to Minnesota weather.
Funny right ?? Since we had the winter we've had. We would take the dogs to a dog park in Esko.
It's supposed to be a business park the joke is everyone is using as a dog park. They keep it plowed and in the spring we had excellent drainage. The ground would dry up in a day, day in a half.  It's amazing how much activity I've had and really been pounding it since and slowly loosing inches!
This is the two of us along with Jack and Daisie at the dog park. With the exception of the last photo between the two houses. Look at the snow banks! we're both tiny in height. so these snow banks tower us LOL.
