July Birthday's

As you can tell I have a ton of June and July Birthday's. This is for my friend Mel. She's 6 month older then me. So just when I catch up to her she takes off ahead of me! LOL. This card was from a kit I had previously posted on my trip to Pine City Scrapbooking company. These are the paper smooches stamps, yellow twine, Some pearls, the chocolate rose ribbon and I just took a section of the rose and used it the middle of yellow flower. I hope she enjoys her day and gets a bit of spoiling from her family as she spoils them rotten on their birthdays! If anything this will let her know I'm thinking of her. I just received my new CTMH catalog so I can't wait to get busy!!  Let see how many of you are reading the blog.. I'll be getting phone calls wanting their copy he hee..

Father in Law's Birthday

My Father in Law's Birthday was over the weekend as well. I dug out some old paper's out of my stash. This is the victory paper packet and I also grabbed an o'l stamp set out too from CTMH. I tend to hang on to all my hunting fishing, camping, hiking, or outdoor stamps as they are few and far between with CTMH so I'll use them as much and whenever I can! This stamp set is the catch of the day. I even took out some old punches I've been hanging on too with the pine tree's and the moose. I can even tell you how old these are. I made the pine tree's and the moose for my wedding invites once a pond a time ago.. so they're 12 years old. yikes. Anyways I used a couple of embossing folders the ruler is from Darci and the wood grain is from Stampin' up. to give it the rustic feel I was going for. I used the Faber Castell Water color pencils on the fish and blended with a blending pen from CTMH and then I have this cool shimmer pen. which I was trying to get a picture with the shimmer.. you can some what tell in the second photo but to give it a feel of a rainbow trout. 40th Birthday Card

Hello again friends. I had a 40th Birthday Party this past week too. He is my former roommate. He's had some health issues the past couple of years. I am so happy he's been doing well on his recovery the past year. So I'm fortunate to spend his 40th Birthday with him and his wife. I hope he likes his card I made him. This is tommy from close to my heart. I used the Prima Flower Nail heads to give it that manly feel. along with CTMH Chevron Ribbon.

 

50th Birthday

My Bestie Peggy is turning 50 this weekend So I made her this 50th Birthday card.

This is with the dream Pop Paper Packet. I'm certainly getting my use from this paper packet from the National Scrapbooking Campaign from Close to my heart. Again I used my favorite papersmooches stamps which are not CTMH. I wish we had some funky font like this. I used the ribbon from a past workshop on the go from last fall. I'm almost out of my stash. but I think I found a great substitute from American Crafts. I used the foundry pin clips, and sparkle flourishes to give it a finished look.
